Seedance 2 was a game changer for AI video. When I got access in April, the first thing I messed around with was real estate. Some of my favorite samples are up at Industrial Allusions.
After talking to a lot of Realtors, the need did not seem to be better listing videos. It was attention. Any time I said the words “daily social media content,” eyes lit up. Sure, you could post listing videos on YouTube, but how do you stop people from scrolling long enough to actually watch?
I think there is something to narrative content. The industry jargon seems to be “microdramas.” You could make a little soap opera for your real estate agency and keep the story going every day. Then, when someone is looking for a house, they think, “Who was that real estate agent I saw on TikTok?”
And like, why limit yourself to real estate? Accountants want attention. Lawyers want attention. Bakeries want attention. Main Street America wants attention.
My first attempt at a narrative-driven story is up top. I will be the first to say it is rough. There is still a ton of work to do. I am a software engineer, not a writer.
That said, I am pretty proud of this video because it shows where the puck is going. I wonder how good things will be next week? Next month? Next year?
